There have been some changes made on how to grade report cards in Drive Scout. This is due to a lot of factors - requested workflow updates, database changes, reducing the "Ungraded Report Card" number Admins see, and more.
Instead of Drive Scout creating a report card when an Admin creates a session on the calendar, the report card will be created when the Instructor or Admin go to the session to grade the report card.
The following steps are the new way to grade a student's report card:
Starting from your homepage, select the Calendar button:
From here you will select the session you want to grade:
For this example we will select the 9 AM July 3rd Session with our student Meg.
Now we will see the following view:
Here we will click on the View button for the session we want to grade.
Here we will see the Session information. We will need to scroll down to see the "Grade Report Card" button.
Now we will be brought to the report card view we are used to seeing to for grading:
Once you complete the grades, text boxes, or just updating the pass/fail status (depending on which type of report card your school uses), you will double check your work then click on the green Submit Grades button.
Once you submit the grades, you will receive a "Report card grades have been submitted" success notification and be redirected to the home page.
